Practical information for the TOEFL iBT®

 

How can I register for the TOEFL iBT® test?

You can register online through the ETS official website.

 

When are the results announced?

Results are announced at the official ETS website, 15 days after the test date. They are mailed directly to the Universities of your choice, unless you have submitted a request for cancelation of your scores. TOEFL iΒΤ® certification is valid for two years. After two years’ time the test has to be retaken.

 

How can I cancel my test?

At the end of the exam, you will be given the option to cancel your scores. It is important to know that:

  • Cancelation applies to all sections of the exam. You cannot cancel your score for one section of the test.
  • No refund will be made.
  • There is no extra cost for the score cancellation procedure.

 

How can I have my test rescored?

You can request to have the Speaking and Writing section rescored within three months after your test date.  It is important to know that:

  • Only one rescoring request can be submitted.
  • The results of the rescoring process will be available online approximately 3 weeks after submitting your request.
